Registration is now open for the World Franchise Forum and the Moscow Franchise Expo 2018
The World Franchise Forum and the Moscow Franchise Expo 2018 will take place in Moscow from the 30th of May to 1st of June 2018. The Forum will bring together representatives from government, franchise associations and investors. The business programme will take place at the World Trade Centre Moscow and the CEC Expocentre.
The key theme of the Forum is stated in the plenary session title “Franchising as a driver of the world economy and the instrument of international cooperation”. Participants will discuss how to create new brands and promote services at the interface between technology and human resources in business.
There are representatives of international associations, heads of major franchise companies and investors to act as experts at the Forum this year. At present, there are more than 30 heads of national franchise associations have confirmed their participation. According to Carol Chopra, Executive Director of the European Franchise Federation, it’s the first time that the World Franchise Council (WFC) holds one of its international meetings in Russia.

“All of the WFC members are truly looking forward to this constructive opportunity for the world community of franchise delegates to meet with their Russian colleagues. The international conference and Expo offer the opportunity for franchise business partners to learn from one another and forge new relationship” she said.
“Franchising is the most efficient strategy to develop his/her business because it keeps human beings in the middle of the process and giving him/her tools for the success. The World Franchise Council gathers 45 franchise associations from all over the world in order to exchange experiences and to work on the professionalism of the franchise system.
At the World Franchise Forum, all the countries will bring their contribution to promote and to organize the international development of the franchise concepts worldwide. France is proud to take part of it,” Chantal Zimmer, General Director of the French Franchise Federation, said in her statement to the Forum participants.
On average, franchising contributes 2.7% of national GDPs which indicates that global markets are receptive to the franchising business model. According to the most recent WFC Survey on the Economic Impact of Franchising Worldwide study, it’s estimated that 2.6 million franchise businesses sustain over 29 million jobs around the world.
The organizers of the World Franchise Forum and the Moscow Franchise Expo 2018 are the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Franchise Association.
The Forum is supported by the Government of Moscow, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
